Dr. Rajendra Nath Reddy is a seasoned Agri-Entrepreneur, Organic Farmer & Consultant, and
grassroots innovator from Routhu Suramala Village in Tirupati District, Andhra Pradesh, India.
With a strong academic foundation — a B.Sc. in Agriculture from Mahatma Phule Krishi
Vidyapeeth, Pune, and a Master’s Degree in Ecology & Environment from the Indian Institute of
Ecology and Environment, New Delhi — he has dedicated over two and half decades to advancing
sustainable agriculture practices across India.
Dr. Reddy has received specialized training in areas such as Plant Tissue Culture, Computer
Applications, and Agri-Clinics & Agri-Business Management. His international exposure includes
prestigious training and study tours to The Philippines (ANGOC-JICA), Israel (MASHAV), USA
(UC Davis, Purdue University), Vietnam, and UAE, focusing on Sustainable Agriculture, Organic
Farming, and Advanced Post-Harvest Solutions.
He serves as:
❖ Local Promoter for the FAO Global Soil Doctor Program, supporting soil literacy among smallholder farmers.
❖ National Resource Person (NRP) on Organic Farming & Value Chain under the National
Rural Livelihood Mission (MoRD, Govt. of India).
❖ National Advisor, Vegetable Grower Association of India (VGAI), affiliated with NHB,
Ministry of Agriculture & Farmers Welfare.
❖ Advisory Committee Member for Agri Supply Chain Projects by IIM-Udaipur, IIM
Lucknow, and Monash University, Australia.
He is associated with Indian Institute of Technology (IIT) Tirupati as an O&M Operator for the
Common Incubation Center (CIC), where he facilitates food processing of local produce like
Tomato, Mango, and Citrus. Cold Plasma, TIH-GPS,GIS and Remote Sensing in Agriculture.
Through deep collaboration with UC Davis (Dry Cards) and Purdue University (PICS Bags), he
has brought globally recognized, low-cost post-harvest solutions to farmers across India,
Bangladesh, and Sri Lanka. He also leads Agri Dry Solutions, a startup promoting innovative
storage and drying technologies.
As founder of Renuka Bio Farms LLP, Dr. Reddy promotes organic farming, conservation of
indigenous livestock, and agri-tourism. The farm produces organic rice, millets, mangoes, and
herbal crops and supplies traceable produce to major companies like ITC, Deepak Fertilizers, and
Mother Dairy.
Serves as Director in SS Deepam Biotek Pvt Ltd which focuses on microbial solutions for soil
improvement, urban organic gardening, and Safe Food Technologies.
Multilingual and deeply rooted in local farming communities, he has trained hundreds of farmers
in sustainable agriculture and continues to provide consultancy to NGOs, government bodies, and
agri-entrepreneurs.
